The Majencia group presents its disruptive innovation, HAPPINESS DESIGN “Well-being as a Service”, promoting employee comfort! Roll-out of this new service has begun with a contract for various French Atos sites outside Paris, a sign of Atos’ confidence in Majencia’s capacity for innovation.
A comprehensive design service
The new service is built around usage and is directly measured by stakeholders, i.e. the employees themselves, who become actively involved in their working environment, via performance indicators used to define targets.
This position is consistent with the strategic vision of the Majencia group, characterised by a disruptive approach within a rapidly changing market, with a comprehensive turnkey solution offering high added value.
Majencias service provides an opportunity to build lasting partnerships in direct contact with employees, in order to promote their physical, mental and social well-being.
The aim is to offer site users a customised support service, which ultimately establishes and maintains a productive and pleasant working environment centred on relationships and discussion in order to boost creativity and ingenuity.
An innovative business model
For the first time in the interior design sector (according to Majencia), a manufacturer is guaranteeing satisfaction and performance of the working environment it supplies. In order to achieve this, they have created an innovative and comprehensive service centred on the use of workspaces, with a long-term commitment to the well-being of employees:
- The end user is at the heart of the approach. User satisfaction is regularly assessed throughout the contract and is taken into account in design changes
- The companies commitment and compensation is not only based on the quality of the equipment provided, but on achieving and maintaining a particular level of service, which is measured in line with the end goal – user well-being.
- As more than just a furnishings provider, Majencia also offers change management support and consulting services for maintaining and changing interior design, and they measure employee satisfaction and implement actions to improve satisfaction if it falls below the accepted threshold.
- The monthly fee is calculated per user (workstation) and remains at a fixed rate for the entire contract period, which represents the provisional site occupancy period.
Atos and Majencia – a strategic partnership
Majencia was awarded this contract with Atos for the renovation of its regional sites in France. These sites will benefit from this new scheme and will be reorganised according to a Smart Campus model, with flex desks and self-service work spaces specialised for each activity.
Rolling out this innovation requires a genuine partnership in order to work together to draw up new contractual measures and set out a commitment that both parties can achieve.
Atos chose Majencia for its competitive responses to the following two objectives:
- Turn an investment into expenditure across the site occupancy period (6 to 9 or even 12 years)
- Turn equipment supply into a service with a performance commitment to support interior design and ensure ongoing change.
“We are proud of this recognition and appreciate the confidence of a company like Atos. We are honoured to support them through the renovation of their regional sites in France. The satisfaction of a client and strategic partner like Atos excites and motivates all our staff,” explained Laurent Magne, Sales & Business Development Executive Director of the Majencia Group.
