The Lithuanian office furniture manufacturer Narbutas has increased its turnover and profit in 2016. According to the website 15min.lt the company realised a net profit of € 4.74 mln which is 93% more as in fiscal year 2015 (€ 2.45 mln) . The total turnover amounted tot € 33.3 mln.
The most striking about these sales figures is the company’s export share. Within Lithuania, only about 10% of sales are realized, while 25.2 million euros are booked in other EU countries. Germany, France Belgium Ireland Sweden and Great Britain are the main exporting countries for the company. In non-EU countries, the company sold 5.1 million euros.
In 2016, Narbuta’s work provided 522 employees. An increase of no less than 50% compared to 2015 (346 employees).
