Royal Ahrend, the leading Dutch producer of sustainable and vital workplaces, announces three appointments in important management positions from 1 July 2018. The appointments are aimed at making a structural contribution to the development of new products and concepts and thus strengthening the international growth of Royal Ahrend.
Tessa Bouwman appointed Marketing Director
Tessa Bouwman (43) has been appointed Marketing Director since 1 July 2018. She will be responsible for the Product Management, Marketing and Communication portfolio of Royal Ahrend. In her new role she will strengthen the international brand strategy, product development and marketing of the various brands within Royal Ahrend, including Ahrend and Gispen. Previously, she was active as Marketing Manager at Gispen, WE Fashion and Essenza Home. Tessa participates in the Royal Ahrend Management Team.
Rob Keulemans responsible for digital transformation
Rob Keulemans (48) will also be appointed as Digital Director on 1 July 2018. Rob will direct the digital transformation of Ahrend and its brands. Royal Ahrend’s ambition is to invest heavily in new online services in the area of leasing, reuse, smart offices and asset management. In that context, Rob is also appointed Managing Director of the ‘furniture as a service’ (leasing) activities. Under the leadership of Rob, Royal Ahrend will further expand its market leadership in these areas. Rob is from Leaseplan where he held the position of Chief Digital Officer. Rob becomes a member of the Royal Ahrend Management Team.
Marck Haans Head of Design
In addition Marck Haans (55) has been appointed Head of Design. He has a broad experience in the industry and has worked with great success in the Ahrend design team and also as a designer at Gispen. Marck is going to give direction to the design development of the important furniture brands Ahrend and Gispen.
