This years Orgatec is about culture@work and visionary concepts for a new working culture. Officerepublic is interested in how participants in the Orgatec describe the culture in their own company and their vision on the workplace of the future. To clarify this vision, we asked five questions to more than 400 participating office furniture manufacturers. We publish the answers we receive in a series on OfficeRepublic: “Culture @”. This article is about Culture@Renz with the companies international sales manager Thomas Pfander
#1 – Culture is sometimes defined as all that man produces in material and immaterial sense. The culture of a people, or a group of people, includes its beliefs, values and customs. If we look at your company, how do you describe the current culture in your company?
In that sense the RENZ culture can be described as follows: Our material and immaterial products and services are honest, fair and authentic. RENZ stands for these values since 136 years. We want to give confidence and orientation in these troubled times and therefor believe in quality and elegance as source of motivation, creativity and success
#2 – What changes do you see taking place in the culture within companies in the coming years? Which external and internal developments will affect our ‘work culture’?
There will be organisations focusing on short time profit and economic efficiency only. But the ongoing hunt for talents and shortage of high potentials will favour organisations which care about motivating, appealing and feel-good work environments to be creative and successful. We at RENZ believe that this will affect the “work culture” a lot in all companies.
#3 – What developments can we expect from your company in the coming years?
RENZ will further on provide solutions and furniture for these motivating, appealing and feel-good work environments. We are glad about having our network with internal and external talents such as for example our famous designers in order to always be up to date with innovative and trend-setting designs which you can see on our stand at ORGATEC in hall 10.2, stand Q20/P21.
#4 – Do we already see some of that development on the coming Orgatec, and what will be the eye-catcher of your trade show presentation?
Of course. At ORGATEC we will present UPSITE the new sit-stand management desk. UPSITE’S strong points are its light appearance and clear lines, its high-level design claim and its first-class crafted surfaces. Further we will present CONVO, designed by Jehs + Laub. This new conference table design brings small and big groups of people not only together, but fosters conversation -ranging from just a single table up to spacious conference systems. And of course we will show are proven bestsellers in new finishes and materials
#5 – Where can you be found on the Orgatec?
You will find us where the excited crowd is gathered – hall 10.2, stand Q20/P21
