Portable Docking Station with Patented Split Dock Technology Provides Complete Cable Management and USB 3.1 Connectivity for Smarter Workspaces
Humanscale is expanding its patented dock system technology with the introduction of M/Connect 3. Visitors to CES 2019 will get the first look at this integrated technology solution in booth 35617 at the Las Vegas
Convention Center. Its unique dual-level design allows for a comprehensive cable management system and instantly transforms desktops into connected, clutter-free workstations. More versatile and portable than ever, M/Connect 3 can be used with or without a monitor arm allowing users the freedom to work how and where they want.
Key tool for agil working
Compatible with USB 3.1 (Type C) notebooks and Thunderbolt notebooks, M/Connect 3 provides power delivery while transferring data to desktop monitors via a bridge cable. By positioning the hub on top of the workspace for easy access to ports used on a daily basis (for charging, audio and data needs) along with the option for Qi Wireless Charging, and a dock underneath the desk for permanent connections, M/Connect 3 is a key tool for agile working. The hub and dock together offer a total of seven USB ports, including one upstream port and two ports with high-speed charging capabilities. The strategic split design helps to ensure an optimal, functioning workspace even with a rotation of users.
Instant access to power and desktop
The M/Connect 3, with its dual-level design, removes several feet of extraneous cables and frees up valuable desk surface, making a dramatic impact on the user’s cable management system. Clutter-free workstations not only provide a unified design aesthetic, but they also create additional space for professionals to use as they need. Regardless of their preferred device, users have instant access to power and their desktop. M/Connect 3 supports 4K video resolution for up to 2 monitors, or 1 monitor at 5K resolution, and is compatible with major operating systems.
M/Connect 3 will be shown alongside the entire M/Connect product line at CES 2019.
