Cila Go has been awarded with IF Gold Award, the highest prize of the renowned German iF Design Award during a ceremony that took place on Friday March 15th at BMW Welt in Munich. Designed by Studio Lievore Altherr, Cila Go is available in both chair and stool version and it expands Arper’s portfolio of seating furniture since 2018.
Cila Go proposes new aesthetic possibilities for the learning sector while providing all the functionality necessary for this specific context – mobility for group collaboration, quiet space for independent work, accessories for technology-enabled learning for the ever-expanding notion of the classroom.
The jury explained their enthusiastic reception of Cila Go as follows: “The Cila Go learning chairs collection is highly versatile. It fits perfectly into workstations, learning and training spaces. The storage function within the shell ensures a sophisticated look while retaining supreme functionality.“
The iF-jury, made up of 67 design experts, gathered in Hamburg in January and deliberated on the winners of the iF Design Award 2019 over the course of three days. Only 66 out of 6,375 participants were awarded the top prize, the iF Gold Award. Winning products will be displayed at the iF design exhibition held in HafenCity, Hamburg in June.
All winners are included in the dedicated iF design app and on the iF Design online exhibition.
