To further support our international expansion, Royal Ahrend is looking for a motivated, talented, successful and experienced International Key Account Manager who can make the difference!<\/p>\n

Profile of the function:<\/strong>As an International Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and increasing the Ahrend market share within the current international customer base. In addition you are also responsible for the acquisition of new international customers. You have a vast experience in the field of proven customer acquisition, account management and consultative selling in a B-2-B environment.<\/p>\n

You are member of the international key account sales team and will report to the Sales Director IKAM & Export. As International Key Account Manager you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The management of existing international key accounts, increasing customer satisfaction, market share and margin, by amongst others, creating a sustainable customer relationship;<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and expand contacts at strategic and tactical level with the DMUs of these customers;<\/li>\n
  • Translating office trends and developments into new concepts;<\/li>\n
  • Informing and advising architects and influencers of Ahrend capabilities and product & services proposition;<\/li>\n
  • Supervising complex, extensive, lengthy international tendering processes;<\/li>\n
  • Advising about and selling of the Ahrend product & services range;<\/li>\n
  • Establish and follow up the key account plan;<\/li>\n
  • Identifying international promotional activities to support our international expansion<\/li>\n
  • Actively informing your international key account team about developments in your international customer portfolio and acquisition processes;<\/li>\n
  • Actively support the international key account team in projects;<\/li>\n
  • Actively support the Ahrend distribution;<\/li>\n
  • Searching and selecting new distribution opportunities for Ahrend;<\/li>\n
  • Identification of trends and developments within (international) the product range, market and customer segments and translate these into recommendations and actions;<\/li>\n
  • Actively setting up and maintaining your relationship network, e.g. making use of Social Media;<\/li>\n
  • Provides management information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Profile of the candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • HBO\/university degree with relevant experience, preferably RE&FM related and\/or in International Account Management;<\/li>\n
    • A customer-focused professional, with 5-10 years of relevant experience in an international B2B environment in which he\/she has proven to be successful in selling to and management of multinational companies;<\/li>\n
    • Preferably has a network of influencers in the field of RE & FM and\/or international procurement.<\/li>\n
    • You have affinity with the sector\/target customers;<\/li>\n
    • Experience with complex, lengthy international tendering processes;<\/li>\n
    • You have a well-developed economic insight;<\/li>\n
    • Enthusiastic, energetic and professional person with a ‘can do’ mentality;<\/li>\n
    • Result oriented, commercial, ambitious and disciplined;<\/li>\n
    • You control the sales process in all of its aspects; from cold calling to after-sales;<\/li>\n
    • You take ownership and are solution-driven;<\/li>\n
    • You have the right skills and attitudes;<\/li>\n
    • You are flexible and respond quickly and effectively;<\/li>\n
    • You report accurately;<\/li>\n
    • Good verbal and social skills including being fluent in Dutch & English, verbal and in writing. German, French and Spanish is a plus;
      \nCultural sensitivity<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package;<\/li>\n
    • You are willing to travel 40% of the time;<\/li>\n
    • You are living in the Netherlands and are in possession of a driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
