London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), the owner company of London Stock Exchange, has composed a report of thousand inspiring European companies that are in a key role in speeding up economic growth and creating jobs. The list has 20 Finnish companies and one of them is Finland’s leading furniture company in public spaces, Isku Interior. Besides Isku Interior , Swedish Kinnarps is also on the list. According to the CEO of LSEG Xavier Rolet, these fast-growing companies are the ones that push the economic growth and employment on the move in Europe.
”Being on the list with other inspiring Finnish companies tells us that our persistent work is bringing us results in both Finland and abroad. Especially heartwarming thing is that Isku is being seen as the boosting element for economic growth. Our persistent focus on national investments and purchases and systematic development of competitivity with international and innovative solutions, such as antimicrobial furniture, is bearing fruit now. The next years are going to be great for Isku”, says Arto Tiitinen, the CEO of Isku.
Kinnarps also on the list
In addition to Isku, also Swedish furniture giant Kinnarps is mentioned on the list of 1000 inspiring companies. To build this list, Bureau van Dijk, which is a provider of Amadeus, a database of comparable financial information for public and private companies across Europe, combined key financial performance indicators of European companies:
- Company Status – only privately held EU-28 based companies are selected
- Size and age – only companies with a turnover between € 20 mln and € 300 mln, and established more than 4 years ago
- Financial Performance – The average annual growth rate in the last 3 years is determined to build the list
- The long list per country is split among the EU 28 countries according to every country’s contribution to the EU GDP. That’s why Finland has 20 companies on the list and for example The Netherlands 50
