The German market for office furniture and office chairs is expected to grow by 2.2% to 1.224 billion euros in 2017, according to Branchenradar Marktanalyse GmbH in its latest report, which was presented in December 2017.
The growth of the market is for 2/3rd demand-driven, and in particular comes from the industrial, commercial and service sector. In contrast to these three branches, the demand from government and the financial sector is a bit lower than before.
Almost all product groups benefit from the growth. The only exception to this is the cupboards and related storage equipment. The growth in this segment is expected to ne 1% compared to 2016
Above average growth for number of manufacturers
The report also provides an overview of the individual German manufacturers. It states that almost all manufacturers benefit from the increased demand. It does see an above-average development in particular with Assmann, Hund and Reiss
